Course Content

The course covers key concepts in physics while encouraging students to apply their knowledge through practical investigations.

Assessments

Assessment is through two written examinations at the end of the course:

  • Paper 1: Topics 1–4 (50%)

  • Paper 2: Topics 5–8 (50%)

Both exams assess understanding, application, and analysis through multiple-choice, structured, and extended questions.
Students also complete a series of required practicals, which contribute to the Practical Endorsement in Physics.

Entry Requirement

  • No prior study required, but a keen interest in science and technology is essential.

  • A good level of Mathematics supports data analysis and calculations.
